HealthTAG at Thailand Insurance Symposium 2024
Dr Dechowat Promda, CEO of HealthTAG, joined the tenth Thailand Insurance Symposium as a speaker on 21 November 2024. His session, “Transforming Healthcare and Insurance with AI,” ran from 1:30 to 2:30 pm in the Grand Ballroom at Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok. The advance notice from HealthTAG also offered online attendance through Zoom.
Technology for life and health protection
The Office of Insurance Commission organized the event under the theme “Redefining Insurance through Technology for Sustainable Life and Health Protection.” Chuchat Pramulpol, Secretary-General of the Office of Insurance Commission, opened the event and delivered a special address.
The symposium focused on insurance, risk management, and the effects of economic, social, and technological change on the industry. Dr Promda’s invited session covered healthcare, insurance, and AI.
The digital insurance programme
The programme also included a panel titled “Future Landscape in Digital Insurance,” with representatives from the Office of Insurance Commission, the Fiscal Policy Research Institute, and Yip In Tsoi. Eugene Macey of PwC delivered another session, “Innovating for Tomorrow: The Future of CX & Digital Workbench in Insurance.”
HealthTAG took part as an invited speaker for its scheduled session.
A forum for the insurance sector
The Thai Life Assurance Association described the symposium as a forum for Thai and international specialists to share knowledge and experience. Its purpose included helping public agencies, private organizations, and the public apply insurance and risk management knowledge.
HealthTAG announced the session schedule on 19 November 2024. The Thai Life Assurance Association records that Dr Promda delivered the talk on 21 November 2024.
